(Reuters Photo)PARIS: A man was shot to death on Saturday after trying to seize the weapon of a soldier guarding Orly Airport, prompting a partial evacuation of the terminal near Paris, police said. Emergency vehicles surrounded the airport as confused passengers gathered in parking lots, and the elite RAID special police force worked to secure the airport. Another man said there was a group of three soldiers targeted, and they tried to calm the man who seized the weapon. Orly is the second-biggest airport in Paris behind Charles de Gaulle, serving domestic and international flights, notably to destinations in Europe and Africa.
